When God Shuts Down a Business

Christ the redeemer

In today’s world, some corporations operate with unchecked greed—driven by a lust for money and power. But if any of God’s elect are present within those walls—and His elect are always the few, whether in the workplace or elsewhere—then justice may not be far behind.

I believe that when malice is sown among His chosen, God Himself may bring down the high places built by pride. Sometimes, a business isn’t just failing—it’s being shut down by divine hand. I call this: a business forced out of business.

We never know exactly how God will avenge His elect. Some vengeance is reserved for Judgment Day. Other times, it’s poured out here and now—especially when cruelty or injustice is inflicted on those who walk in His favor. God’s elect are scattered across the globe, often unnoticed, but never forgotten. And while none of us can know the mind of God, Scripture reminds us that those who harm the apple of His eye will not go unpunished.

The rich businessman may think he controls his destiny. But power and wealth do not shield anyone from divine accountability. Even those building empires through artificial intelligence—systems that could harm countless lives—are not exempt. Whether saint or sinner, God does not will harm to His creation.

So let us remember: success built on injustice is fragile. And when God defends His elect, the fall can be swift and final.. by: Connie Limon

From the King James Version bible here is what is said:

Psalms 105:15 Context

12When they were but a few men in number; yea, very few, and strangers in it. 13When they went from one nation to another, from one kingdom to another people; 14He suffered no man to do them wrong: yea, he reproved kings for their sakes; 15Saying, Touch not mine anointed, and do my prophets no harm. 16Moreover he called for a famine upon the land: he brake the whole staff of bread. 17He sent a man before them, even Joseph, who was sold for a servant: 18Whose feet they hurt with fetters: he was laid in iron:

1 Chronicles 16:22 Context

19When ye were but few, even a few, and strangers in it. 20And when they went from nation to nation, and from one kingdom to another people; 21He suffered no man to do them wrong: yea, he reproved kings for their sakes, 22Saying, Touch not mine anointed, and do my prophets no harm. 23Sing unto the LORD, all the earth; shew forth from day to day his salvation. 24Declare his glory among the heathen; his marvellous works among all nations. 25For great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised: he also is to be feared above all gods.

Proverbs 3:30 Context

27Withhold not good from them to whom it is due, when it is in the power of thine hand to do it28Say not unto thy neighbour, Go, and come again, and to morrow I will give; when thou hast it by thee. 29Devise not evil against thy neighbour, seeing he dwelleth securely by thee. 30Strive not with a man without cause, if he have done thee no harm. 31Envy thou not the oppressor, and choose none of his ways. 32For the froward is abomination to the LORD: but his secret is with the righteous. 33The curse of the LORD is in the house of the wicked: but he blesseth the habitation of the just.

Zechariah 2:8 Context

5For I, saith the LORD, will be unto her a wall of fire round about, and will be the glory in the midst of her. 6Ho, ho, come forth, and flee from the land of the north, saith the LORD: for I have spread you abroad as the four winds of the heaven, saith the LORD. 7Deliver thyself, O Zion, that dwellest with the daughter of Babylon. 8For thus saith the LORD of hosts; After the glory hath he sent me unto the nations which spoiled you: for he that toucheth you toucheth the apple of his eye. 9For, behold, I will shake mine hand upon them, and they shall be a spoil to their servants: and ye shall know that the LORD of hosts hath sent me. 10Sing and rejoice, O daughter of Zion: for, lo, I come, and I will dwell in the midst of thee, saith the LORD. 11And many nations shall be joined to the LORD in that day, and shall be my people: and I will dwell in the midst of thee, and thou shalt know that the LORD of hosts hath sent me unto thee.
