You Can’t Borrow Holiness: Why Your Walk With God Must Be Your Own
You can’t become a saint of God by simply watching your sister and copying what she does. Holiness isn’t inherited. It’s not mimicked. And it certainly can’t be stolen.
A true seat in the Kingdom of Heaven must be earned through your own surrender, obedience, and relationship with God. You can’t claim someone else’s spiritual position just because you admire it—or envy it. You can’t exalt yourself into a role that wasn’t given to you, hoping to make it your own by force or imitation.
God sees the heart. And He knows when we’re trying to bypass the process.
If your pursuit of holiness is rooted in comparison, competition, or coveting someone else’s calling, God will block those efforts—just like people block others on Facebook. Instead of elevation, you’ll experience abasement. Because pride and imitation are not the paths to righteousness.
Your walk with God must be personal. It must be authentic. And it must be yours.
