Contending with the Spirit of Malice
Malice is an evil spirit that every person must confront. Most people don’t realize they’re harboring it—they deny its presence. Yet I can discern it every time. When someone encounters a person filled with the Holy Ghost, someone who can see the root of their behaviors and identify the specific spirit at work, they often respond with yet another act of malice or a different evil spirit altogether.
In such moments, people tend to react in one of two ways: they either retaliate—evil fighting evil—or, if they are born again and chosen by God, they cannot respond with the same spirit. Instead, they must simply contend with it. That means doing nothing evil in return. Because evil cannot reside in someone who carries the one true Spirit of God—the Holy Ghost.
There is only one cure for evil spirits: to be born again. At that moment, all evil spirits are expelled, and the Spirit of God takes over, guiding your behavior.
Evil spirits are cunning. They can recognize those who carry the Holy Ghost and often respond with hostility. They are not only dangerous—they are nauseating. In extreme cases, people ruled by these spirits may need to be removed from society to prevent harm to themselves or others.
When exposed, evil spirits don’t retreat—they escalate. They never improve or transform into something good. Instead, they manifest in new, destructive ways. This is especially evident in toxic workplaces, where the atmosphere feels poisoned by the spirits people carry. The sickening feeling that permeates such environments stems directly from those harboring these spirits.
This will not be resolved until Jesus returns and puts an end to the evil spirits distributed by the devil—spirits that have quietly taken root in people’s hearts. Many of these individuals are convinced they are Christians, yet they remain blind to the spirits guiding them.
What happened today in the workplace? A swarm of evil spirits spewing their poison into the air, creating a toxic cloud that even affects themselves. They lack wisdom and divine knowledge, and so they remain poisonous.
I was once delivered from that workplace, but for reasons I don’t fully understand, I’ve been sent back. It feels forced, like another trial or tribulation laid upon me by the devil.
There is no true joy or peace when surrounded by a multitude of evil spirits, each one driving people through life in whatever direction it pleases.
All I can do is shake my head, step outside, and breathe in some fresh air. It is all part of wrestling not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
Here is what the King James Version Bible says:
Ephesians 6:12 Context
9And, ye masters, do the same things unto them, forbearing threatening: knowing that your Master also is in heaven; neither is there respect of persons with him. 10Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. 11Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. 12For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. 13Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. 14Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; 15And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;
