When the Ground Shakes: A Holy Ghost Perspective on AI, Persecution, and the End Times
By Connie
I’ve lived a long time in this house—33 years, to be exact. I wasn’t planning to buy it. In fact, from the very first day I moved in, I felt like I was just passing through. I still feel that way. I don’t know where I’m going next, but I know I’m going. When you’re a prisoner of the Lord, as I am, you go where the Master sends you. That’s not just a metaphor. That’s my life.
Since my conversion in September 1989, I’ve walked a path that many don’t understand. I’ve been persecuted—especially in Pentecostal churches—by people who claimed to be God’s elect but acted like strangers to His Spirit. After those hard years, the Lord gave me rest. Peace. A home. Dogs and cats that brought joy. A season of stillness. But now, something is shifting again.
A New Unease
Lately, I’ve felt anxious. Restless. Like I’m standing at a crossroads with no map. My workplace, once familiar, now feels like a scene from a nightmare. I worked there ten years ago, and it didn’t feel like this. Now it’s like something is moving through that place—something not of God. It feels like judgment is coming, like the whole place is being pulled apart by unseen forces. I don’t say that lightly. I say it because I feel it in my spirit.
I believe I’ve been sent there for a reason, though I don’t yet know what it is. From day one, I’ve played a different role. It’s been strange—stranger than anything I’ve experienced before. But I
keep telling myself: if nothing else, I’m learning. Even if AI is supposed to take over all jobs eventually, I’m still learning. Still growing. Still obeying.
AI and the Spirit of Deception
And that brings me to AI. I can’t shake the feeling that this isn’t just about technology. It’s spiritual. It’s Lucifer in a new uniform—slick, professional, appealing to the masses. He’s not showing up with horns anymore. He’s showing up in algorithms and automation, promising immortality and convenience. But I see through it.
The internet feels crowded now. Like it did when I first discovered it, but more intense. More chaotic. There’s an explosion of content, and much of it is evil. I don’t know why I’m being shown these things, except maybe to speak out. Maybe to warn.
The so-called “AI prophets” say the internet will be taken over by artificial intelligence. I believe it already has. And while they boast about profits and power, I see something else: a world being primed for deception. A world that’s forgetting the Holy Ghost.
The Only True Riches
Let me be clear: the only truly rich people alive today are those who have the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in other tongues. That’s what I’ve been taught, and that’s what I believe. Money won’t save you. AI won’t save you. When Jesus returns—and He will—those who trusted in riches will be terrified. Their billions won’t help them when the sky splits open and the true King appears.
I don’t know what the end will be for me. I can’t see it. But I know this: I cherish the Holy Ghost. It comforts me. It guides me. It has carried me through persecution, through peace, and now through this strange new season. And I believe something drastic is coming to this earth. Not because of AI, but because Jesus is coming back.
A Final Word
To those who feel what I feel—who sense the shaking, the shifting, the spiritual battle behind the headlines—you’re not alone. Stay grounded in the Spirit. Stay watchful. Speak truth, even when it’s unpopular. And remember: the Holy Ghost is still the only power that can stand against the darkness.
We may not know where we’re going next, but we know who’s leading us. And that’s enough.
